Lot's of New Things

Lot's of new things going on:

So we've had a bit of a busy month.  I started my job, as you all know.  I love it!!!! Here is a picture of part of my desk:
There are more pictures on the other side of my computer....and the background of my computer is rotating pictures of Sis (oh and my screensaver).

We have started trying the crib finally.  Aaron talked me in to trying one night.  This is the first night:
It lasted about 2 hours.  The next night lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes.  She hasn't done that well since.  She wakes up and I think she panics because she doesn't know where she is.

We went back to this:

We finally tried the excer-saucer that Aunt Christine and Uncle Cole got us!  She isn't really sure about it yet, as you can see, she's a little small.
I put a pillow under her the second time we tried it, and she figured out that she can spin around.

We tried cereal-and I'm dumb and didn't get a picture. :(  She hates it.  I think the texture really weirds her out.

We bought a Wubbanub.  I waited so long to get one, because I was so terrified of SIDS, but I've really calmed down about it.  Let me tell you-its the best $13 I've ever spent.  She loves it!!!!
She is able to hold the little kitten and keep her foo-foo in.

She's a happy girl!!!

We have visitors! My mom and nephews are here!  Amelia has had a great time with her cousins.  Haydan constantly plays with her, and carries her around.

She laughs at them both!

She has gotten some quality Granny time.
And by quality time, I mean "DON'T YOU DARE PUT ME DOWN, GRANNY!!!!" time.

Cousin Heath went to Universal Studios and brought back the best present ever!

It's the Unicorn from Despicable Me....IT'S SO FLUFFY, I'M GONNA DIE!!!!

We had a 6 month check up today.  Dr. Pak was VERY happy with her.  She weighed 12 lbs 5 oz. and was 23.5ish inches long.  She is in the 20th percentile for height and weight for other babies that were born at 29 weeks.  He said he was happy with her weight gain and growth.  She's just going to be a little thing.  He also said that she is doing everything that a 6 month old should be doing!!!  So far, no developmental delay!  She's amazing.

We tried green beans tonight, since she hates cereal.  Well, she loves green beans!!!

 and just some random cuteness

xoxo,
Emily
