The hang up rack only solved one problem. The other problem was with all of the dirty clothes on the floor. I couldn't deal with it anymore! So I'm patrolling Pinterest one day, and I see this awesome post about a laundry sorter. (You can find that post here). So I whined at Aaron to make me one just like it! It didn't take much whining, because he was tired of the clothes everywhere too. So one day when we were at Menards, we bought the supplies needed. This is how it turned out:
Aaron measured the width of the laundry baskets and hung the wall strip thingies to match. We got the extra heavy duty brakets to set the baskets on.
A couple of other things that I added to the tiny laundry room is a piggy bank and random catch all bin on the dryer (for the stuff that we leave in our pockets), a rubbermaid container for Amelia's clothes that don't fit anymore, and a Goodwill basket for stuff we need to get rid of.
I actually don't hate doing laundry now!!! (except on the weekends-I'm not doing it :) no wonder it's neverending!)
What kinds of things do you do to make your laundry easier to deal with?

Emily

StorageManiac Laundry Hamper Sorter from Bizarkdeal
ReplyDeleteAwesome product! Awesome Value! StorageManiac has crafted an awesome laundry cart. I’ve got a busy household and a ton of laundry to do every week. This 3-bin cart allows me to sort the laundry as we go each day. The heavy duty removable bins I can just dump into the washer and go. Industrial framework and rolling casters allow me to move a large and heavy amount of laundry around with ease. I can roll it from room to room and even roll it out on to the patio to hang laundry on the line. I can sort the clean laundry into the separate bins for everyone to put away as laundry is finished. The bins are very easy to clean and maintain. Assembly is a breeze. I do recommend using a power driver to assemble to save some time as the bolts are very long. Over all this product is a great and has a very nice price tag. Budget friendly all the way!
